Insulated Glass, also called IGU (Short for Insulated glass unit), which is comprised of two or more than two pieces of glass sheets that are separated with Aluminium/stainless steel ***cer fully filled with desiccant, and the sides are double sealed with high-strength sealants.
Clear float glass, extra clear glass, tinted glass, solar reflective glass, Low-E glass, laminated glass, tempered glass, heat-strengthened glass and curved glass, etc. can be used to form insulating glass.
Materials
***cer: Aluminium or Stainless steel.Color: Silver, Black, Golden, Gray, etc.
Thickness: 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 16mm.Gas filled in IGU: Air or Argon.
(6A is short for 6mm ***cer, air filled. 6Ar is short for 6mm ***cer, Argon filled)
First sealant: Butyl
Second sealant: Silicone or Polysufide
